About Kwankee
坤記 Kwankees – a noodle shop full of love and an intangible cultural heritage.
Everything starts from Grandpa’s hand-painted recipe and inherits the traditional craft of bamboo noodles. Bamboo noodles are famous for their smooth and elastic texture. The dough is made by relying on the principle of leverage and its own weight to become a Michelin-recommended restaurant for ten consecutive years.
The name KwanKee comes from a mother’s love for her children and her persistence in cultural inheritance. For this reason, KwanKee founded KwanKee Bamboo Noodles in 2010. In order to maintain the traditional culture, it insists that every bowl of noodles is made of a “Zhu Sheng Noodle”. “Made with sweat, this seemingly ordinary bowl of noodles is full of cultural atmosphere and mother’s love.
